Compact digital cameras have come a long way in the past 12 years. Why am i looking back twelve years you may ask well because it is twelve years ago this year that Canon one of the camera company godfathers of camera industry started their manufacturing of compact digital cameras back in 1996.

That really is not all that long ago but oh my how far the comapct digital camera has come in such a short period of time.
